Anais is a French commune with 320 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Charente-Maritime department , in the La Rochelle arrondissement , in the La Jarrie canton and in the Communauté de communes Aunis Sud .

geography

Anais is located on the Curé river , 20 kilometers west of La Rochelle and south of the Marais Poitevin . The municipality consists of the districts of Les Rivières-d'Anais, Les Petites Rivières, Le Moulin Neuf, Fraise and Anais .
