The District of La Rochelle-5 was 2015 a French canton in the district of La Rochelle , in the department of Charente-Maritime and in the former region Poitou-Charentes . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representatives on the General Council of the Département were Jack Proust ( PRG ) for 1992–2011 and Yann Juin (also PRG) for 2011–2015.
