The District of Rochefort-Sud was 2015 a French canton in the department of Charente-Maritime and in the former region Poitou-Charentes . It includes part of its main town (chef-lieu) Rochefort in the Rochefort arrondissement . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the General Council of the Département was Pierre Feydeau for the years 2011–2015.
