The District of La Rochelle-9 was until 2015 a French canton in the district of La Rochelle , in the department of Charente-Maritime and in the former region of Poitou-Charentes ; its main town was La Rochelle . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Jack Dillenbourg ( PS ) was the last representative in the General Council of the Department for the years 2008–2015 .
