The District of Rochefort-Center was until 2015 a French canton in the department of Charente-Maritime and in the former region Poitou-Charentes . It comprised part of its main town (chef-lieu) Rochefort in the Rochefort arrondissement . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the General Council of the Département was Jean-Louis Frot for the years 1985–2015.
