The District of La Rochelle-3 is a French constituency in the Charente-Maritime and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . In the Arrondissement of La Rochelle, it comprises a sub-area of the city of La Rochelle . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, its layout was enlarged so that the canton now has 24,124 inhabitants (as of 2017). With the reorganization, his INSEE code also changed from 1741 to 1716.
