The Canton Saujon is a French constituency in the Charente-Maritime and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It includes parishes from the arrondissements of Saintes and Rochefort . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was reduced in size in spring 2015.

From 1801 to 2015 the canton consisted of 13 municipalities: Balanzac , Le Chay , La Clisse , Corme-Écluse , Corme-Royal , Luchat , Médis , Nancras , Pisany , Sablonceaux , Saint-Romain-de-Benet , Saujon and Thézac . Its layout corresponded to an area of 197.75 km 2 . Before 2015 he had the INSEE code 1736.
