Villars-les-Bois is a place and a western French community with 246 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Saintes and the canton of Chaniers (until 2015: canton of Burie ). The inhabitants are called Villarboisiens .

Villars-les-Bois is located in the Saintonge about 16 kilometers east-northeast of Saintes . Villars-les-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Migron in the north and east, Burie in the south, Saint-Bris-des-Bois in the south-west and Brizambourg in the west and north-west.
