Grézac is a French municipality with 929 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saintes and the canton of Saintonge Estuaire (until 2015: canton of Cozes ). The inhabitants are called Grézacais .

geography

Grézac is located about nine kilometers north of the Gironde estuary and about 90 kilometers north-northwest of Bordeaux . Neighboring communities of Grézac are Corme-Écluse in the north and north-west, Meursac in the north, Thaims in the east and north-east, Saint-André-de-Lidon in the east and south-east, Cozes in the south and Semussac in the west and south-west.
