Colombiers is a French municipality with 313 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Saintes and the canton of Thénac (until 2015 Saintes-Est ). The inhabitants are called Colombiérois (es) .

geography

Colombiers is about twelve kilometers south-southeast of Saintes . Colombiers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Jard in the north and west, Montils in the east and Saint-Léger in the south.
