Chenac-Saint-Seurin-d'Uzet is a French municipality with 594 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Saintes and the canton of Saintonge Estuaire (until 2015: canton of Cozes ). The inhabitants are called Chenacais and Saint-Surinais .
geography
Chenac-Saint-Seurin-d'Uzet is located directly on the Gironde estuary and about 77 kilometers north-north-west of Bordeaux . Neighboring municipalities of Chenac-Saint-Seurin-d'Uzet are Épargnes in the north, Virollet in the east and northeast, Mortagne-sur-Gironde in the east and southeast and Barzan in the northwest. On the opposite side of the estuary lies Jau-Dignac-et-Loirac to the south .

In 1965 the communes of Chenac-sur-Gironde and Saint-Seurin-d'Uzet were merged.
