Bercloux is a French municipality with 439 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement Saint-Jean-d'Angély and the canton of Chaniers (until 2015: canton of Saint-Hilaire-de-Villefranche ). The inhabitants are called Berclaudiens .

Bercloux is about 66 kilometers southeast of La Rochelle . Bercloux is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Nantillé in the north and northwest, Authon-Ébéon in the north and east, Migron in the southeast, Brizambourg in the south and Écoyeux in the west and southwest.
