Gourvillette is a French commune with a population of 89 (as at 1st January 2017) in the Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement Saint-Jean-d'Angély and is part of the canton Matha . The inhabitants are called gourvillettois .
geography
Gourvillette is located about 75 kilometers east-southeast of La Rochelle in the Saintonge . Gourvillette is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cressé in the north and northeast, Beauvais-sur-Matha in the east, Massac in the south, Haimps in the southwest and Les Touches-de-Périgny in the west.
