Annezay is a French municipality with 162 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement Saint-Jean-d'Angély and is part of the canton Saint-Jean-d'Angély (until 2015: canton Tonnay-Boutonne ). The inhabitants are called Anneziens .
geography
Chantemerle-sur-la-Soie is about 45 kilometers east-southeast of La Rochelle . Chantemerle-sur-la-Soie is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Devise in the north, Puyrolland in the northeast, Saint-Loup in the east and southeast, Tonnay-Boutonne in the south, Saint-Crépin in the southwest and Genouillé in the west and northwest.
