Nachamps is a French municipality with 194 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement Saint-Jean-d'Angély and is part of the canton Saint-Jean-d'Angély (until 2015: canton Tonnay-Boutonne ). The inhabitants are called post-amptais .

Nachamps is located about 52 kilometers east-southeast of La Rochelle . Nachamps is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Puyrolland in the north and west, Courant in the north and east, Landes in the east and south-east and Saint-Loup in the south and south-west.
