Blanzac-lès-Matha is a French municipality with 328 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement Saint-Jean-d'Angély and is part of the canton Matha . The inhabitants are called Blanzacais .

Blanzac-lès-Matha is located about 82 kilometers east-southeast of La Rochelle in the Saintonge . Blanzac-lès-Matha is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Brousse in the north and north-west, Bagnizeau in the north-east, Matha in the east, Courcerac in the south, Aujac in the south-west and Aumagne in the west.
