Verdille is a French municipality with 353 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Confolens and the canton of Charente-Nord ( Aigre until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Verdillois .

Verdille is located about 35 kilometers northwest of Angoulême and is surrounded by the neighboring communities Ranville-Breuillaud in the north and north-west, Barbezières in the north, Oradour in the north-east, Mons in the east, Val-d'Auge with Auge-Saint-Médard in the south and Bresdon in the West.
