Auge-Saint-Médard is a village and a former French commune of 289 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Cognac and the canton of Val de Nouère (until 2015 Rouillac ). The inhabitants are called Médardais .
With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Auge-Saint-Médard , Anville , Bonneville and Montigné were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Val-d'Auge and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Auge-Saint-Médard.

Auge-Saint-Médard is located about 27 kilometers northwest of Angoulême . Eye-Saint-Médard is surrounded by the neighboring towns of Verdille in the north, Mons in the northeast, Bonneville in the east and southeast, Montigné in the south, Anville in the west and southwest and Bresdon in the west and northwest.

In 1993, the community of Auge was incorporated into the municipality of Saint-Médard-d'Auge under the name of Auge-Saint-Médard.
