Bonneville is a village and a former French commune of 137 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Cognac and the canton of Val de Nouère (until 2015 Rouillac ).

With effect from January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Auge-Saint-Médard , Anville , Bonneville and Montigné were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Val-d'Auge and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are located in Auge-Saint-Médard.

Bonneville is about 34 kilometers north-northwest of Angoulême . Bonneville is surrounded by the neighboring towns of Auge-Saint-Médard in the north and west, Mons in the north and northeast, Gourville in the south and east and Montigné in the south and west.
