Felix Agu (born September 27, 1999 in Osnabrück ) is a German soccer player . The defensive player is under contract with Werder Bremen and is a young German national player.

Career

The defender and midfielder began his career at Osnabrücker SC and moved to the youth team at VfL Osnabrück in 2010 , where he ran through all age groups and played in both the B and A junior Bundesliga . On April 28, 2018, Agu - still as a youth player - was in VfL's third division squad for the first time and was used as a defender for the entire season in the 1: 2 defeat against FC Carl Zeiss Jena . Shortly thereafter, he signed a one-year professional contract with the option for another year. On December 22, 2018, he scored his first third division goal in the 2-1 away win against the Würzburger Kickers . As champions of the third division season 2018/19 , Agu rose to the 2nd Bundesliga with Osnabrück after missing most of the second half of the season due to a shoulder injury . In the 2019/20 season , Agu played 28 second division games (24 times from the start).

For the 2020/21 season, Agu moved to the Bundesliga for Werder Bremen .

National team

In September 2019 Agu was nominated for the U21 of Germany and thus for the first time for a national team.
