Milot Rashica (born June 28, 1996 in Vučitrn , Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ) is a Kosovar - Albanian football player . The striker is under contract with Werder Bremen in Germany . He also completed international matches for Albania and Kosovo.

Career

society

Rashica started playing football in the youth department of KF Kosova Vushtrri . From 2013 he played for the first team with which he won the Kosovar championship title in the 2013/14 season . For Vushtrri, the attacker came to 21 appearances in the first team, in which he was able to score nine goals.

In the 2015/16 season , Rashica moved to Vitesse Arnheim in the Dutch Eredivisie at the age of 19 . For the club he scored thirteen goals in 83 league games and prepared 23 more. He won the Dutch Cup with Vitesse in 2017 and was able to gain his first experience in the European Cup as part of the Europa League qualification .

At the end of January 2018, Rashica moved to the German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen , with whom he received a four-year contract. On March 12, 2018, the striker scored his first Bundesliga goal in a 3-1 home win against 1. FC Köln . In the 2019/20 season, Rashica was able to earn a regular place in Bremen and is aggressively deployed flexibly.

National team

Rashica played for Albanian youth national teams and twice for the senior team . Since these were only friendly matches, it was possible for him to change associations.

On September 5, 2016, he made his debut in the Kosovar senior team in a 1-1 draw against Finland in World Cup qualification ; the rest of the group games lost Rashica with the team without exception. In qualifying for EM 2021 , the striker is in the play-offs with Kosovo.
