Reffannes is a French commune in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ). It has 368 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) and belongs to the Parthenay arrondissement and the La Gâtine canton (until 2015: Ménigoute canton ). The inhabitants are called Reffannais .
geography
Reffannes is located about eleven kilometers south-southeast of Parthenay and about 33 kilometers north-northeast of Niort in the Gâtine . Reffannes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Beaulieu-sous-Parthenay in the north, Vausseroux in the northeast, Vautebis in the east, Les Châteliers with Chantecorps in the southeast, Clavé in the south and Saint-Lin in the west.
