Saint-Aubin-le-Cloud is located about eight kilometers west of Parthenay on the small river Palais , a tributary of the Thouet , and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fénery in the north, Adilly in the northeast, Châtillon-sur-Thouet in the east, Le Tallud in the south and south-east, Azay-sur-Thouet in the south, Secondigny in the south-west and Pougne-Hérisson .
