Large stone grave Lausigk

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Lausigk large stone grave was a Neolithic megalithic grave in Lausigk , a district of the municipality of Southern Anhalt in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district , Saxony-Anhalt . It was probably destroyed in the second half of the 19th century. Christian Keferstein described it as still existing in 1846. Keferstein called it the “grave altar” in the open field. So it was evidently a stone burial chamber of an unknown type that did not (any longer) have a pile of mounds.
