Montravers is a French municipality with 382 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (previously Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Bressuire and the Canton of Cerizay .

geography

Montravers is about 17 kilometers west of Bressuire city ​​center . The Sèvre Nantaise forms the western and southern borders . Montravers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Amand-sur-Sèvre in the north and north-west, La Petite-Boissière in the north, Combrand in the north and north-east, Cerizay in the east, Saint-Mesmin in the south and Sèvremont in the west.
