Saint-André-sur-Sevre is a French municipality with 649 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Deux-Sèvres in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (previously Poitou-Charentes ). It belongs to the Arrondissement Bressuire and the Canton of Cerizay . The inhabitants are called Saint-Andrésiens .

geography

Saint-André-sur-Sèvre is about 15 kilometers west-southwest of Bressuire . The Sèvre Nantaise flows along the northeastern edge of the municipality . Saint-André-sur-Sèvre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cerizay in the north, La Forêt-sur-Sèvre in the east, Menomblet in the south and south-west, Montournais in the west and south-west and Saint-Mesmin in the west.
