Cirières is about nine kilometers west of the city center of Bressuire . The Argenton flows through the municipality . Cirières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Pin in the north and north-west, Bretignolles in the north and north-east, Bressuire in the east, La Forêt-sur-Sèvre in the south and Cerizay in the west and south-west.
