It rises in the municipality of Yzernay , drains generally in an easterly direction and flows into the Argenton after 26 kilometers on the outskirts of Argenton-les-Vallées as a left tributary . On its way, the Ouère crosses the Maine-et-Loire and Deux-Sèvres departments .
