Saint-Paul-du-Bois is a French commune with a population of 589 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Cholet and the Canton of Cholet-2 (until 2015: Canton Vihiers ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Paulais .
geography
Saint-Paul-du-Bois is located about 25 kilometers east of Cholet and about 40 kilometers southwest of Saumur in the Mauges . Saint-Paul-du-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lys-Haut-Layon in the north and east, Saint Maurice Étusson with Saint-Maurice-la-Fougereuse in the south and south-east, Somloire in the south-west and La Plaine in the west.
