The Èvre is a river in France that runs in the Maine-et-Loire department , in the Pays de la Loire region . It rises in the municipality of Chemillé-en-Anjou , drains in many meanders generally northwest through the Mauges landscape and flows into the Loire as a left tributary after 92 kilometers at Le Vieux Bourg , just west of Saint-Florent-le-Vieil .
