Our Kid was an English boy band from Liverpool that became a one-hit wonder in 1976 with their song You Just Might See Me Cry .
Band history
The pop band won the mid-1970s with her four-part singing , tended outfits and own choreography the talent show New Faces and subsequently received a recording contract with the label Polydor . In May 1976, the single You Just Might See Me Cry , written by Barry Mason and Roger Greenaway , was released , which rose to number 2 on the UK charts . Subsequently planned television appearances were banned by the local youth authorities because the band members were underage students. After the singles Romeo and Juliet in September 1976 and Let's Go Steady Again in July 1977 went unnoticed, Our Kid broke up. Even the only album named after the band did not reach a chart.
