Donnie O'Sullivan

Donncha Eamonn "Donnie" O'Sullivan (born April 9, 1984 in Dublin , Ireland ) is an Irish presenter , television writer , music producer , voice imitator , podcaster , editor , graphic designer , live streamer and copywriter working in the German-speaking world .

Life

When he was seven, O'Sullivan came to Tübingen with his older sister and mother , where he grew up. His uncle was the Foreign Minister of Ireland and his cousin is the Irish musician David Kitt .

After graduating from high school, he trained as a media designer. From 2010 to 2014 he studied design and visual communication at the Berlin University of the Arts . He completed his studies with a Bachelor of Arts . He was, among other things later art director and is both as author and implementer -employed.

O'Sullivan lives in Berlin .

Career and professional activities

He worked as a media designer for Magix Software and as a graphic designer for the television stations Nickelodeon , Comedy Central and for MTV Germany , the German version of the television station MTV . For the production company Endemol and the television show Circus Halligalli he worked as an author and moderated for the former music-Internet channels tape.tv .

From November 2016 to May 2019 he was a permanent editor and presenter for the 24-hour livestream channel Rocket Beans TV (RBTV) and was responsible for gags, decks, ideas and scripts for various formats. He announced that he would continue to be seen there regularly but rarely, mainly to moderate his program Bada Binge .

With Nilz Bokelberg and Markus Herrmann he started the guest list podcast Geisterbahn in 2015 . There he often appears as a voice imitator . On November 20, 2015 he was a guest on the podcast DAS PODCAST UFO.

Under the stage name Donnie Dubson he released three singles and an EP in the Liquid Funk genre between 2006 and 2009 . As Dubson he was represented on various samplers. He recently released another single on the RBTV channel under the new stage name Yung Don (¥ UNG DON).
