Landemont is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Orée d'Anjou with 1,857 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Maine-et-Loire in the region of Pays de la Loire . The inhabitants are called Landemontais .

With effect from December 15, 2015, the municipalities of Bouzillé , Champtoceaux , Drain , Landemont , Liré , Saint-Christophe-la-Couperie , Saint-Laurent-des-Autels , Saint-Sauveur-de-Landemont and La Varenne were removed from the former Communauté de communes du Canton de Champtoceaux amalgamated into a Commune nouvelle with the name Orée d'Anjou. The municipality of Landemont belonged to the arrondissement Cholet and the canton La Pommeraye (until 2015: canton Champtoceaux ).

Landemont is located about 24 kilometers east-northeast of Nantes and about 34 kilometers northwest of Cholet in the Mauges countryside .
