Mecklenburg Switzerland

The Mecklenburg Switzerland is a country in the central part of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern , north of the lake district and immediately northwest of Malchin and Lake Kummerow . The landscape lies northwest of the line Malchiner See, Dahmer Canal , Kummerower See to Peene (canal) near Neukalen and from there southeast of the line Lelkendorf , Teterower See , Teterow, Groß Wokern to the Malchiner basin. There is no precisely defined limit. Much of the landscape lies in the Mecklenburg Switzerland and Kummerower See nature reserve . The attraction is the intact nature, the hills, the original villages and many castles and manor houses . Mecklenburg Switzerland consists of 19 percent forest and 10 percent water.
