history

Stormstorf was first mentioned in 1268. The estate was owned by the von der Lühe families (1518 to 1872) and the Counts of Bassewitz . It was settled from around 1929. The manor house dates from 1871. On July 1, 1950, Stormstorf was incorporated. After 1960 the LPGs Type I and Type III (home country) were founded, from which the KAP and the animal and plant production emerged in 1972.

Zarnewanz was first mentioned in a document in 1268 and previously had the Wendish name Zarnivas ( black beard ). It then belonged to George of York and then to Doberan Monastery . There is evidence that five farmers lived in the village in 1622. From 1518 it was a pertinence (ancillary property) of Stormstorf. The von der Lühe family moved their residence to Zarnewanz in 1748, which was their main estate until 1872. The von Bassewitz family was then landowners. From 1928 to 1932 Zarnewanz was settled and modernized. In 1931 the fire brigade and a church hall in the manor house and in 1935 a harvest kindergarten were established .

From 1949 there were the machine rental stations (MAS), in 1950 the machine tractor station (MTS) and the rural trading cooperative (BHG). In 1952 the local agricultural enterprise (ÖLB) and the first LPG type I and in 1960 the LPG type III were formed. The first water pipe came in 1960 and the first sewer pipe in 1978.
