Reddelich is a municipality in the Rostock district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany). The municipality is administered with eight other municipalities by the Bad Doberan-Land office based in Bad Doberan.

Reddelich forms a municipality with the neighboring village of Brodhagen.

The place is between Bad Doberan and Kröpelin on the federal highway 105 , in relative proximity to the federal highway 20 and thus not far from the Baltic Sea (approx. 5 kilometers) and near Heiligendamm . It has a stop on the Wismar-Rostock Railway , via which Reddelich is hourly connected to Wismar , Kröpelin, Bad Doberan and Rostock .

On July 1, 1950, the previously independent municipality of Brodhagen was incorporated.

• A cultural association in the community provides a range of cultural and sporting events and does youth and senior work.

Camp Reddelich

During and after the G8 summit in Heiligendamm in 2007 , Reddelich achieved a high media presence because one of the camps of globalization critics was in the community with around 5000 demonstrators.

Personalities

• Alexander Graf Stenbock-Fermor (1902–1972), author and resistance fighter, lived around 1920 while attending school in Rostock in Reddelich.
