Description of coat of arms

The bricks symbolize the three places in the municipality and their history in relation to brick production, primarily in the 19th and 20th centuries. The bar stands for the nearby Warnow and the Greif represents the historically closely interwoven history with the Hanseatic city of Rostock.

Flag description
“The flag is streaked with blue, yellow and blue across the longitudinal axis of the flag cloth. The blue stripes each take up a quarter, the yellow stripe takes up half the length of the flag cloth.
