history
15 municipalities are united in the Mecklenburg Switzerland Office to carry out their administrative business. The administrative seat is in the non-official city of Teterow . An administrative office of the office is located in the municipality of Jördenstorf . The office was formed on June 1, 2004 from the dissolved offices of Jördenstorf and Teterow-Land . The municipalities of Matgendorf, Bristow, Bülow (near Malchin), Poggelow, Remlin, Levitzow, Sukow-Marienhof and Neu Heinde were also part of the new formation .
- Incorporations
Matgendorf was incorporated into Groß Wüstenfelde on June 13, 2004. From the communities of Bristow and Bülow (near Malchin) the community Schorssow was formed on June 13, 2004, from Poggelow and Remlin the community Schwasdorf. Also on June 13, 2004, the municipalities of Levitzow and Sukow-Marienhof merged to form the new municipality of Sukow-Levitzow and Neu Heinde was incorporated into Prebberede.
