Career
Golobart was born and raised in Barcelona . In August 2009 he left his youth club Espanyol Barcelona and went to England to Wigan Athletic . Roberto Martínez , also from Catalonia and then coach of Wigan Athletic, thought he was a great talent. Although the defender was used several times in friendly games and was also allowed to take a place on the bench, Golobart did not play any competitive games in the first two seasons.
For the 2011/12 season , Golobart was loaned to the Scottish Premier League at Inverness Caledonian Thistle . There he was named “Player of the Season” by the fans. In August 2012 he was loaned to the Tranmere Rovers for a month in League One , but only came to one use there. He then returned to Wigan Athletic and made his competitive debut in the third round of the FA Cup against AFC Bournemouth on January 5, 2013 . In the same month he played his first game in the Premier League in a 90-minute game against Stoke City (2-2). In total, Golobart came to three games in the Premier League.
At the end of the 2012/13 season Golobart turned down an offer to extend his contract and moved to 1. FC Köln . He received a three-year contract with the second division team until June 30, 2016. Before the start of the 2014/15 season , he and four other professionals were told that they were no longer planning to work with them in the future. Golobart trained from then on with the U-21s of 1. FC Köln. On February 2, 2015, he switched to the 2nd Bundesliga for FC Erzgebirge Aue on loan until the end of the 2014/15 season . There he came to four second division appearances, as well as two appearances for the second team. After the relegation of FC Erzgebirge Aue to the third division , Golobart initially returned to Cologne. On August 21, 2015, his contract was finally terminated. On August 21 of the same year he returned to Spain for Racing de Ferrol . In the summer of 2016, he moved to Real Murcia within the Spanish second division .
