The Segunda División 2013/14 (officially Liga Adelante ) was the 83rd season of the Spanish second division. The season began on August 16, 2013 and ended on June 22, 2014 with the final of the play-offs. Master became SD Eibar .
Before the season
The 22 teams met twice on 42 match days. The two best teams went straight to the Primera División . The teams in places three to six determined the third promoted team in the play-offs. Reserve teams were not eligible for promotion. The last three clubs were relegated.
Relegated from the Primera División took RCD Mallorca , Deportivo La Coruna and Real Zaragoza in part. Moved up from the Segunda División B were Deportivo Alavés , CD Tenerife , SD Eibar and Real Jaén .

Play-offs
In the play-offs, the teams took part in places three to six of the regular season. In the semifinals, the third met the sixth and the fourth met the fifth. The winner of the finals qualified as the third promoted player for the Primera División . Since FC Barcelona B was not eligible for promotion as the second team, places four to seven took part in the playoffs.
