Dejan Lekić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Дејан Лекић ; born June 7, 1985 in Kraljevo ) is a Serbian football player . The striker is under contract with FC Girona .
Career
society
Lekić started his career in his hometown at Sloga Kraljevo . He then played for FK Popovići and city rivals Metalac . In 2007 he moved to the second division FK Zemun , with whom he was relegated to the third division in 2008. With 26 goals in 23 games, he was able to arouse the interest of several clubs and moved to FK Red Star Belgrade in 2009 . In 2010 he moved to Spain to CA Osasuna . After two years at Osasuna, he moved to Gençlerbirliği Ankara in the Turkish capital for the 2012/13 season . In 2013 he returned to Spain on loan, this time playing for the second division Sporting Gijón . In 2014 he moved to the first division club SD Eibar . His contract expired in the summer of 2015 and he moved to Atlético de Kolkata in India in November 2015 . In January 2016 he returned to Spain again; he moved to the second division FC Girona .
National team
Lekić was appointed to the national team for the first time in 2009 . He made his debut in November 2009 in a friendly against Northern Ireland .
