history
The Estadio Municipal de Anduva was officially opened on January 22, 1950, but CD Mirandés had played its home games in the stadium since the beginning of the 1949/50 season of the Tercera División . In 2005, the roofing of the main grandstand on the west side was renovated. On February 28, 2006 Spain's U-21 national team played a friendly international match against Poland at the Estadio Anduva, the match ended with a 0: 1 in favor of the guests.
The venue experienced an expansion in 2010, when a pure seating grandstand was built on the south side. For the inauguration, CD Mirandés played a friendly match against Real Sociedad on November 24, 2010 and won 3-1.
The focus of the media was on the Estadio Municipal de Anduva in the course of the Copa del Rey 2011/12 , when CD Mirandés surprisingly made it to the semifinals with home wins against the first division clubs Villarreal , Racing Santander and Espanyol Barcelona . There CD Mirandès lost on February 7, 2012 Athletic Bilbao (1: 2) in front of the record number (by setting up additional stands) of 7,980 visitors.
