The Center d'Esports Sabadell Futbol Club is a Spanish football club from the Catalan city of Sabadell . Currently, the club is playing in the Segunda División B .
history
CE Sabadell was founded in 1903, making it one of the oldest football clubs in Spain. Because of the idiosyncratic jerseys, fans affectionately refer to them as harlequins . CE Sabadell celebrated their first and probably greatest success in 1935, when they made it to the final of the Spanish Cup , where they lost 3-0 to Sevilla FC . In 1943 he was promoted to the Primera División for the first time , where they played a total of 14 seasons. The best results were a fifth place in 1946/47 and a fourth in 1968/69 . The latter also allowed the club to participate in the 1969/70 trade fair trophy , where they lost to Club Bruges in the first round . The last season in the Primera División played CE Sabadell in 1987/88 .
