The 1.79 meter tall Calleri, used as a striker, was born in Buenos Aires . He started his career with the All Boys and Boca Juniors . In 2016 he moved to Deportivo Maldonado . He was loaned to West Ham United for the 2016-17 season. On August 21, 2016, he made his Premier League debut against AFC Bournemouth . In total, he completed 16 first division games and scored one goal in that season.

In mid-July 2017 he was loaned to UD Las Palmas by Deportivo Maldonado . He was then loaned to Deportivo Alavés for a year .
