Elbisbach is a district of the city of Frohburg in the Saxon district of Leipzig .

history

Elbisbach was under the jurisdiction of the Wolftitz manor around 1551, and around 1696 the place belonged to the Hopfgarten manor. The Kaisershain desert lies in the corridor of Elbisbach. Until 1856, Elbisbach was in the Electoral Saxon or Royal Saxon Office of Borna . From 1856 the place belonged to the Borna court office and from 1875 to the Borna district administration . The Elbisbach village church is a simple baroque building from the second quarter of the 18th century.

On January 1st, 1974 Elbisbach was incorporated into Prießnitz.
