Walditz is a district of the city of Frohburg in the south of the Leipzig district in Saxony .

Walditz lies between meadows, fields and wooded areas east of the town of Kohren-Sahlis.

history

Until 1856, Walditz was in the Electoral Saxon or Royal Saxon Office of Borna . The jurisdiction over Walditz lay with the Sahlis manor . From 1856 the place belonged to the Frohburg court office and from 1875 to the Borna district administration .

On October 1, 1948, the previously independent community of Walditz was incorporated into Kohren-Sahlis. Since January 1st, 2018 the place belongs to the city of Frohburg.
