Jonathan Rodríguez Menéndez (born July 9, 1991 in Cangas del Narcea ) is a Spanish football player . He currently plays for Lazio .

Career

Until 2014, Rodríguez played mainly in the third Spanish division . He then moved to Sporting Gijón , where he played 82 games in two years and scored 14 goals in both the first and second Spanish leagues . In 2016 he moved to FC Málaga . There, however, he was loaned out twice: half a year back to the previous employer Sporting Gijón in 2018 and currently one year to Deportivo Alavés . For the 2019/2020 season, he moved to the Italian Serie A for Lazio Rome for two million euros .
