Ligat ha'Al 2011/12

The Ligat ha'Al 2012/13 was the 14th season since it was launched under that name in 1999 and the 71st season of the highest Israeli division in men's football . It started on August 25, 2012 and ended on May 20, 2013.

The defending champion was Hapoel Ironi Kirjat Schmona . Maccabi Tel Aviv secured the championship on April 22nd, four game days before the end of the season, after a 2-0 win at Hapoel Ironi HaScharon . Overall, it is the club's 19th championship and the second since the Ligat ha'Al was founded in 1999.

A. Maccabi Netanya played its home games in the Ramat Gan Stadium until October 6, 2012, as the construction of the new Netanya stadium was not yet completed.
B.Since the actual home ground, the winter stadium , does not meet the requirements of the league, Hapoel Ramat Gan plays its home games in the Ramat Gan stadium.

Preliminary round

In the preliminary round, a double round was played between all 14 teams. The six best-placed clubs then qualified for the championship round, in which , in addition to the Israeli championship, the international starting positions were played out. The other eight clubs played in the relegation round against relegation to the second-rate league Leumit .
