Toto Adaruns Tamuz Temile (born April 1, 1988 in Warri ) is an Israeli football player born in Nigeria . He also has a Nigerian passport due to his father's origins .

Childhood and youth

Toto Tamuz was born in Nigeria, but his parents moved to Israel with the then two-year-old in 1990 because his father, Clement Temile , was a footballer at Beitar Netanja in Israel. When Beitar got into the situation of no longer being able to pay the employees' salaries, his parents had to keep their heads above water with odd jobs. In 1991 they finally moved back to Nigeria because they hoped to find work there and left Toto with a teammate of his father's. They didn't come back and so he was adopted by his host father, hence his Hebrew family name Tamuz.
