The vasermil stadium ( Hebrew אצטדיון וסרמיל) is a football stadium in the Israeli city ​​of Beersheba in the south of the country.

history

The stadium was opened in 1959. The Israeli first division soccer team Hapoel Be'er Scheva played his home games in this stadium. The fourth division soccer team Maccabi Be'er Scheva was also based in the Arthur Vasermil Stadium. The construction costs amounted to an estimated 50 million US dollars . The stadium holds 13,000 spectators. After the completion of the Turner Stadium , Maccabi Be'er Scheva left the old Arthur Vasermil Stadium and moved to the new building. The venue was closed in 2015.
